Are you looking to make a difference and have a unique working experience? Our client is looking for a Head of Innovation with expertise in digital technology and innovation to shape policy and engagement with the financial services industry and drive the innovation agenda.

The Innovation Hub is a facilitator of technology adoption, supporting the growth of Fintech, Regtech, and Suptech. It is equally responsible for promoting more resilience in financial services businesses through the adoption of technology.

The Hub advises senior leaders within the business on how Jersey’s financial services firms can innovate, taking advantage of business opportunities in line with risk appetite. It also takes a lead in influencing how Jersey can evolve its digital assets businesses in line with international standards. The Hub works with senior stakeholders to develop Jersey’s innovation and digital capabilities, as well as taking a lead in educating senior leaders, policy, and supervisory teams to promote FinTech on our island.

This role will have a large impact on the business and the achievement of its objectives to harness technology and support the digitalization of financial services.

This role would suit candidates who are passionate and knowledgeable about technological innovation in financial services but understand the context of operating within a regulatory framework. Ideally, candidates should also have strong stakeholder management skills, a willingness to engage across multiple audiences, and an understanding of the legal and policy frameworks within Jersey.
