John is our London consultant. He previously worked with Shelley at Mourant in Jersey. After five years as the Group HR Director he relocated to London where he joined Novae Group PLC, a specialist Lloyd’s underwriting business.
With around 30 years experience in HR management, fifteen of which have been in professional services, John has held senior positions with Standard Life, global accounting and business advisory firm Grant Thornton, and City law firms Linklaters and CMS Cameron McKenna.
John has written and had published three reports on Remuneration and Motivation, contributed to a book published by the FT on Operational Risk Management and is a regular speaker on a number of HR topics both in the UK and Internationally. John is also vice-chair, City HR Association: the professional body representing the interests of the HR community in the City of London.
