This important role is to assist the Head of Compliance in order to ensure that the activities of the our clients business in Jersey is undertaken in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as being in line with the businesses policies and procedures.  

Skills/experience required

  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Jersey’s regulatory environment in relation to Funds Service Business and Trust Company Business as well as a good understanding of Jersey’s AML/CFT framework.
  • The candidate will be flexible, self-motivated and have experience in scheduling and executing compliance reviews with a strong focus on managing and agreeing outcomes while remaining fully accountable for the work undertaken.  The candidate should be able to work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure appropriate actions are seen through to completion, therefore good communication skill are essential.
  •  You will have excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate results in a clear and succinct manner that successfully draws out relevant issues.
  • People management is a major part of the role so previous experience running a team would be required.
  • You should also hold a professional qualification to Table 4 level that is relevant to a compliance role (for example, the ICSA Diploma or other professional qualification relevant to financial services.
