Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated ‘Sales Manager’ to lead two teams across Jersey and Guernsey. The successful candidate will need to be able to lead by example and must be able to quickly identify and seize new business opportunities whilst developing long term relationships. You must be able to thrive in a fast paced and target driven environment.
Assisting the Board in the setting of financial targets and relaying them in a clear and timely manner to sales staff
Motivating sales staff to meet their objectives and financial targets
Identifying training needs when necessary and taking appropriate action
Leading regular sales meetings
Ensuring sales staff are aware of any developments in the market
Keeping sales staff abreast of any company developments as directed by the Board
Recruitment of new sales agents
Identifying key new business development opportunities
Assessing prospects and signing up business deals, negotiating favourable terms and acquiring commitment from suppliers and clients
Cultivating and delegating new sales leads appropriately.
Development of sales strategies
Collation of Management Information – reporting to the Board regularly with key financials along with other KPIs
Attending regular management meetings with appropriate KPIs
Swiftly identifying any financial deficits or deviations from set targets and proposing solutions
Identifying and implementing revenue generation opportunities
