Our client is a Jersey based company that is looking for a new member of the team. The role holder will support the wider team in delivering a corporate and governance service. This will include:

  • Maintaining statutory records for the Society and its subsidiary companies, and filing returns with the FCA, the JFSC and GFSC’s registries
  • Building new corporate databases
  • Preparing minutes of subsidiary companies’ boards, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assisting in the collation, production and distribution of board, committee and pension Trustees’ meeting packs in Board Intelligence or pdf bundles

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideally experience working in a trading business, as opposed to a financial services or advisory environment
  • A chartered secretary ACIS with ideally some company secretarial experience
  • Good level of business acumen
  • Consults, collaborates and communicates effectively
  • Has excellent IT skills, including MS Office 365 and Board Intelligence or a similar digital board environment and the ability to learn new applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate succinctly with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work without close supervision whilst part of a team in addition to being comfortable in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and pace
