Our client is a multi jurisdictional company who is growing. They are looking for a Compliance Manager to join the team. They offer corporate governance and compliance support to a range of international clients, using their knowledge and experience to guide them through the complexities of national and supra-national compliance. As Compliance Manager, you will act as the deputy to our Head of Compliance in Jersey and work with them to plan and implement the efficient and effective operation of the Compliance department, giving support and direction a range of our other service areas. You will assist in developing and maintaining a good compliance culture throughout the Jersey office and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, reporting requirements and controls imposed by regulators and the Board of Directors.
You will assist the Head of Compliance to develop, implement and embed an effective compliance framework and procedures to ensure they are maintained and tested in accordance with regulations; Assist with external audits and the preparation of Due Diligence audits; Provide regular compliance monitoring reports for the CO, in addition to timely advice and practical guidance and training for the wider office; Provide consistent guidance or feedback with respect to Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Customer Due Diligence to the administration and review teams; Maintaining various compliance registers.
Degree and/or relevant professional qualification (such as an ICA Certificate or Diploma), with relevant experience at a senior compliance level in the trust and company sectors; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels; Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and to guide and direct others to meet deadlines and targets; Excellent knowledge of relevant Jersey regulations and legislation, including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing.
