Our client is an experienced market-leading business, delivering specialist advice and expertise for over 40 years. They are looking for a Team Leader for their expanding team.

This role is significant in the success of the claims function in supporting the Head of Claims Service to manage and lead the Claims Team in Jersey to deliver excellence and efficiency in claims handling.

To be an effective member of the Claims Leadership Team in leading, managing, motivating, monitoring, communicating and developing individuals in accordance with the company’s people policies.

To lead by example, demonstrating behaviours in line with the company values.

Oversee all aspects of the operation of the Claims team to ensure that the team meets service delivery targets that deliver customer satisfaction.

Act as a line manager for team members including responsibility for managing behaviours and absence including sickness and holiday.

Motivate and develop the Claims Team so that they know what is expected of them and how to meet their own personal objectives as set out in the Managing Performance Review and realise

their potential.

Coach, mentor and give guidance to Claims Handlers on their delivery of market leading customer experience.

Meet the expectations and requirement of internal and external customers. Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer’s requirement ensuring they receive a high quality service

Previous management and leadership experience required

Strong customer service skills
