Associate Director – Aadministration

The purpose of this role is to manage a major team / number of teams of administrators on a range of different fund structures.

Key responsibilities:
 Manage the administration requirements for a major team/number of teams
 Co-ordinate legal, tax and other professional advice
 Attend committee, board and shareholder meetings as required and ensure that accurate minutes are taken and distributed in a timely manner
 Liaise with the financial reporting team to ensure the timely and efficient administration of clients’ periodic and statutory financial statements
 Act as highest authority on day to day queries and as “A” level 4-eyes signatory on administration
matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts
 Attend and participate at quarterly jurisdictional management meetings to review WIP incurred and utilisation across teams to ensure that extra billing opportunities are identified and appropriate action taken
 Participate in new client proposals/pitches as necessary, and manage the integration of new clients into the group’s procedures
 Manage the on-going training and development requirements of team members
 Participate in client fee negotiations
 Contribute towards the business as a whole, for instance, in identifying improvements in policies and procedures that apply across the business; create a holistic approach to administration
 Actively manage the performance development process for all direct reports
 Control the appraisal process for reporting lines
 Act as an “A” level Authorised Signatory
 Computer literacy, word processing and spread sheet skills are essential

Considerable practical fund administration experience supported by a relevant professional qualification (ICSA Diploma level or equivalent)
Sound technical financial services knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
Experience of day to day supervision of a team(s)
Evidence of full responsibility for a major client relationship(s)
