Our client is a medium size company with great culture and ethics. They are very friendly and believe in looking after the people in the business. They are looking for an Assistant Trust Manager for their Family Office.
The successful person will be responsible for a complex portfolio of clients so as to ensure that a high level of service is given to clients in accordance with relevant mandates so that operational and fiduciary risk exposures are effectively managed. You will actively work to ensure that the Jersey Trust Department meets its Financial Objectives in line with Financial Plans. Provide assistance and support to the Manager and Director, including with the management of operational projects.
You will also be responsible for all aspects of management of a portfolio of trust and companies, ensure the Company meets its Regulatory, Risk and procedure requirements, be required to develop relationships with clients, intermediaries, prospective clients, and other professional advisors . This will involve travelling to meet contacts where necessary. Ensure that the Company's procedures and standards are met with a particular focus on effective time recording, billing and collection along with efficient process completion of Accounts, Annual and Investment Reviews. Act as at a minimum of a ‘B’ signatory (subject to the parameters put in place by the Authorised Committee of Group and its subsidiaries).
The successful person must be an experienced and qualified professional with a minimum of 10 years' management practice of Trust and Fiduciary services including an understanding of business development, operational and financial activities. A focus on quality service delivery supported by commercial sense so as to identify and anticipate business opportunities, weaknesses and strengths to be able to develop appropriate initiatives that link the business with broader company initiatives within the group and into new areas through professional intermediaries and other contacts.
