Our client is an international and award-winning corporate, private client and fund administration business where expertise, drive and an ambitious nature are rewarded. They are private equity backed and well-positioned to capitalise on the huge growth opportunities they see globally.

We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing marketing, communications and content strategies for the Group.

  • We are looking for a professional specialist with high-level expertise, exercising within their particular functional area a substantial degree of independent professional responsibility and discretion, working to broad parameters and policy guidance.  Work includes significant professional expertise and/or experience to develop and implement revised or new administrative, technical or professional policies and processes.

·         Individuals will typically be managers of functional areas or senior individual contributors tackling planning and operations over a timescale of a year or years. They are expected to set quality and professional standards and manage service delivery, and have significant influence upon the structure and development of their area of activity. The work includes developing and implementing operational plans and contributing to the longer-term plans for the area to fit with broader functional and Company strategy.

Principal accountabilities:

Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing, the individual will oversee the Group’s communications strategy to ensure clients, intermediaries, influencers and industry contacts receive correct communications and messaging on their business, services and capability. To include, but not limited to:

  • Create communications and content strategies aligned to Corporate, Private Client and Funds Sales Plans, with responsibility for monitoring and reporting success and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with client and business development colleagues in our international offices to improve and exemplify excellent communications which generate new business leads for the company.
  • Oversee and shape suite of industry leading collateral and promotional communications to support lead generation and sales
  • Build and coordinate a living library of relevant and commanding articles and marketing materials based on industry topics and trends that can be used for relationship building with prospects.
  • Support Senior Management team with key internal and external communications such as business acquisitions, staff communications and key stakeholder updates
  • Work with PR agencies to create and deliver effective PR strategies which raise the company profile in target international markets.
  • Identify, write and manage award submissions for the Group in recognition of business successes
  • Lead the development of best practice marketing communications activity in conjunction with local marketing staff, and see that governance and compliance standards for communications are met.
  • Support Directors with the review and development of first class pitches, proposals and communications
  • Market intelligence strategy.
    • Manage competitor benchmarking research and client service reviews.
    • Drive market research and review of potential new markets, products and services
  • Travel and work out of office hours when required.
